Founder
Joshua Kifer is an indie game developer and founder of Fyrebite Gaming. Since entering the games industry in 2021, Josh has professionally shipped five games and built a career working in VR development. He founded Fyrebite in 2022 while creating The Secrets of Hope and now brings that experience back to independent development — building smaller games, chasing interesting ideas, and occasionally making something a little weird.

Co - Founder
Nick Carney brings a background in fine arts, production, and a lifelong love of games to Fyrebite Gaming. Since entering the industry professionally, he has shipped two titles and served as Project Manager on one of the largest VR shooters on the Meta Quest platform. His creative background and professional production experience make him particularly good at the important part: helping turn our weird ideas into games we can actually ship.
